      Show Off! at MIX08

Unless you've been under a rock, you know that the MIX08 conference in Las Vegas next week is going to be a very exciting time for Silverlight developers. There will be announcements about Silverlight 2.0, and hopefully some more information about the road map going forward. I'll be there, and I hope to meet as many fellow Silverlight developers as I can.

On Thursday night at MIX08, there is an event called Show Off! which is described as follows:

At MIX08, we’re hosting what will be a world famous Show Off event. If you’ve ever wanted to put the smack down on lesser mortals, flex your brain, and get everyone to gloat at your—deservedly—awe-inspiring work, this is what might be called a prime opportunity. We want you to inspire others with your unique software, tip, tool, technique, animation, or anything else we can’t think of. All you need to do is create a short, 3-minute-or-less video demonstrating what you want to show off.

Andy Beaulieu http://www.andybeaulieu.com/ and I have made a submission for Show Off! based on our work with the Farseer Physics Engine for Silverlight, so if you're at MIX, come out and cheer us on!
